Renters must hold a valid UAE driving licence (residents) or a home-country licence plus International Driving Permit (visitors). Minimum age is 21 for SUVs and sedans, 25 for sports and convertible vehicles. We reserve the right to request additional documentation for any booking.

A refundable deposit (AED 3,000–10,000 depending on vehicle) is held on a credit card at delivery. It is released within 48 hours of return, conditional on the vehicle being returned in the agreed condition with no outstanding fines.

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive UAE-issued insurance. The renter is liable up to the insurance excess in the event of damage, and is fully liable for any incident occurring while in violation of UAE traffic law or under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

Vehicles are delivered with a full tank and must be returned the same way. If returned with less fuel, the difference is charged at the prevailing rate plus an AED 75 refuelling fee.

Each vehicle has a daily mileage allowance shown on its detail page (typically 200–300 km/day). Excess mileage is charged at a per-kilometre rate disclosed before booking.

All traffic fines, parking violations, Salik tolls and Dubai Police charges incurred during the rental period are passed to the renter at face value plus an AED 50 administrative fee per fine.

Full refund for cancellations 48 hours or more before delivery. 50% refund within 48 hours. No refund within 24 hours of pickup. Velocira may waive these terms at its sole discretion for repeat clients and exceptional circumstances.

Vehicles may only be driven by the authorised renter(s) named at booking, within the UAE. Off-road use, motorsport use, vehicle modifications and sub-letting are strictly prohibited and void all insurance cover.

Velocira is not liable for any loss, theft or damage to personal property left in the vehicle. The renter agrees to indemnify Velocira against all third-party claims arising from their use of the vehicle, subject to insurance cover.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Emirate of Dubai.
